We've been around for over 15 years, and in that time we've built up an enviable reputation for high quality award-winning creative work, indeed many visitors and buyers make a bee-line for our trail every year - despite there being more than 200 to choose from!
Our Promotion
We combine our strengths so that we can maximise the promotion of the trail as a whole, through group PR, adverts, flyers, point of sale dispensers, editorial features and radio interviews etc. You can't just hope they'll come! This is the festival - there's a lot going on!
Our Back Up
Opening your doors to the public is not to be taken lightly! We're here to help you. You'll have other members to give advice on pricing, mounting, framing consulting your neighbours and welcoming the public. Plus there's discounted public liability insurance and a very merry trail launch party too!
How do I join?
There is no restriction on mediums used, but we do like to meet everyone to see their work, explain how we operate and ask what you can bring to our collective. In previous years we have asked each house to find a set amount from a sponsor or make a donation themselves, this is no longer mandatory, although sponsors are always welcome! However, each house now be expected to chip in a small contribution to our group promotional fund. We start our planning in the Autumn, so if you are interested, sign up for a new account on the top right.
Running an Open House can be very rewarding experience - in every sense of the word - but with over 200 houses opening in 2018, getting visitors to your door is the key issue. With Hove Arts we can help you do just that - because Hove is where the Art is.
