For 2020 we've complied our largest collection ever of affordable art and handmade gifts for you, featuring work from 12 artists and makers:-

Delphine Bache-Gabrielsen: Mixed media

Delphine's artwork starts with making papers of different textures and sizes. She then chooses a pattern (a line, a spiral, a word) and will start writing by using various colours and various sizes. Little by little, she arranges the work by tearing up each paper piece and re-positioning them randomly by using the feeling of the various textures on her finger tips. Artworks are sewn together, there’s no glue used. @delphinebachegabrielsen

Morag Caister: Painting

Morag is a painter from Brighton and studied Fine Art at Bath Spa University and Painting at The University of Brighton. In the work are descriptions of a personal vision and commentary, which is mainly an acknowledgment of natural mirrors, patterns and frequencies found and recognised in just about everything, the concept is relatable in the sense that each person identifies with certain surroundings and can find parts of themselves looking back at them in corners here and there.

Andrea Dunne: Textiles

Andrea returns to Brighton with her beautiful new collection of knitted products; clothing, homeware and fine art too, all produces using the finest, locally and ethically sourced wool and yarn.

Sue Elderfield: Mosaics

Sue has been making mosaics for 4 years now - inspired by Alicen Haire of Mindful Mosaics in Brighton and our group have become firm friends and still meet regularly. Sue is also a very keen gardener and loves colour so the idea of garden mosaics was sown (ho ho) during one winter when her garden needed cheering up!

Louise Erskine: Watercolor

Hove based Louise is a watercolour and acrylic painter living in Hove. She graduated from MMU (Crewe and Alsager College) with a BA Hons Creative Arts degree. Her choice of subject usually gravitates towards Sussex landscapes and seascapes or floral inspirations found in her garden! In the last few years she has also started working in acrylic.  louiseerskine/

Isabella Houry: Painting & Collages

Paper, cardboard, paints, pigments, fabrics ... these are the materials that inspire Isabelle in her artistic explorations. After her 3 years at the Beaux Arts in Bordeaux and regular in an artistic collective, she acquired the freedom to deepen on her artistic journey through mixed media. Isabelle likes to create with her brushes, her hands and any other tools she feels like making a mark with. She is passionate about women and the sensuality that they represent and likes to mix colours, painting and collages to make her portraits even more expressive and unique. isahourypaintingsandcollages/

Lizzie Kershaw: Jewellery

Lizzie is a Brighton based jewellery designer/maker who has been making jewellery for many years and have exhibited at craft fairs all over the country. From 2009 to December 2016 she traded at Covent Garden Apple Market. All her work is handmade in silver and gold, from large scale chokers and neck-pieces through to bracelets, earrings, etc.

Lucy Palmer: Bespoke Framing

Lucy's partner David’s aims to minimize the environmental impact of the work he produces, so in keeping with that vision Lucy sources picture frames from Charity and Junk shops and the odd Manor house clearance, then she carefully reworks them with sympathetic hand finished treatments and decorations to enhance the impact of each piece, creating an unique piece of art.

Rowena Park Design: Jewellery

Rowena works with clear acrylic which is shaped and bent using grinders, saw cuts and polishing grits to achieve the basic shapes, then transparent coloured lacquers combined with gold leaf create the vibrant effects, which are then “viewed” through the acrylic layer. The clear acrylic enhances the jewel like quality of the combination of lacquers and gold leaf by focusing the light into the acrylic and bouncing off from the now coloured gold layer.

Mary Penley: Ceramics

Ceramic artist and Spiritual Director producing wheel thrown and hand-built pieces. Known for her triangular ‘T’ pots, oyster platters, and thought provoking tableau sculptures.

David Streeter: Photography/Workshops

Your host has twice been shortlisted, Judges Choice and Highly Commended in the Landscape Photography of the Year awards. His work spans India, Lisbon, Bruges and various Brighton Festivals. Almost all limited edition larger work is shown in up-cycled frames decorated by Lucy Palmer. Janet Stocker: Painting

Born in the 90's and bred in Hong Kong Janet is a graduate of University of Brighton and a full time graphic/motion designer and an artist based in Brighton, UK. Her works show an atmospheric and ephemeral sense of a story, reviving a nostalgia sensation within my paintings by capturing small yet powerful moment of daily life.
