This year’s open house offers a slightly different experience for visitors who may have attended before, while still retaining the uplifting atmosphere and thoughtful curation that many have come to enjoy.

For the first bank holiday weekend in May, Sarah will be joined by Emma for a special three-day exhibition, presenting their work side by side within Sarah’s beautiful, welcoming home. The space will be carefully arranged to reflect the colours, light and atmosphere of the Brighton coastline and the wider Sussex landscape.

Sarah’s original oil paintings of florals, landscapes and seascapes, alongside her mixed media pieces, will sit alongside Emma’s calming yet energising seascapes and paintings of swimmers. Together the work celebrates a shared love of the sea, landscape and the sense of place found along this stretch of coast.

Visitors can expect a welcoming and thoughtfully curated environment that invites them to pause, explore the work and enjoy the setting. Prints and cards will also be available.

For those unable to attend the opening weekend, Sarah’s prints, cards and other pieces will be available throughout May at Albert Mews Studio, hosted by Martha Mitchell and Jo Corney of Lume Lighting.
